Assata Shakur

Relation Tupac's aunt Assata Shakur, dubbed the "soul" of the Black Liberation Army, is arguably the most famous member of the Shakur Family. Currently living in Cuba. In a highly controversial case she was convicted of murder in a shoot-out on the New Jersey State Turnpike in 1973. An officer and Tupac's uncle, Zayd Shakur, were both killed. The third person in the vehicle, Sundiata Acoli, has served 20 years of her sentence and has been denied parole for another 20. Assata was shot in the back, taken to the hospital and tortured while questioned. She had a broken clavicle and a paralyzed arm. Despite the fact that forensic evidence showed that she had not fired a weapon, she was sentenced to life + 33 years in prison. Assata escaped from prison in 1979 and fled to Cuba where she is living now under a grant of asylum from the government of Fidel Castro. There are currently campaigns to free Sundiata Acoli and prevent the US's attempt to extradite Assata from Cuba. Relation Lumumba Abdul Shakur was Afenis first husband, he was also a Black Panther member and was the lead defendant in the Panther 21 case. He was found dead in Louisiana a few days before Mutulu was arrested. It was suspected by Mutulu that he was murdered by someone who had learned of Mutulu's whereabouts.

Mutulu Shakur

Relation Mutulu Shakur was Tupacs Step-Father an together they created the 'Code of Thug Life.' Which was a list of rules discouraging random violence among gangsta rappers. Mutulu was sentenced 60 yrs in jail after been acused of allegedly conspiring against the US government in 1986. In 1981 he had been arrested as been the brains behind the robbery of Brinks in which two Nyack, New York policemen and a Brinks guard were killed. Mutulu maintains his innocence.

Geronimo Pratt

Relation Geronimo Pratt was Tupacs God-Father & a Black Panther party member. He was recently released from prison after serving 27 yrs of a 25 to Life sentence, due to the fact that evidence had surfaced that proved him innocent of murdering an L.A school teacher. He has won a large settlement of money due to the fact he was innocent ( The amount is undisclosed).

Kastro Cox

Relation Kastro Cox is Tupacs Cousin. He was a member of Dramacydal and Outlawz.

Sekyiwa Shakur

Relation Sekyiwa Shakur is Tupacs half sister, who was born in 1975. They had lived together in the Bronx, and Harlem in New York. She currently has two children.

Maurice Harding

Relation Maurice Hardings is Tupacs step-brother ,his Mother is Sharan Harding & his Father Mutulu Shakur, shortly after he was born they had divorced and Mutulu re-married with Afeni. Maurice Harding was a member of ThugLife under the alias Mopreme.

Yafeu Fula

Relation Yafeu Fulas father is thought to be Tupacs father (William Garland) but its not proven, he is Tupacs Half-brother, this was not found out until after his death. Kadafi was the only witness that was willing to testify in Tupac's murder. On November 10 he was shot once in the head and was found slumped in the third floor hallway of an apartment building in New Jersey, he was only 19.
